Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing processes and work cells.
- Working with design engineering in the completion of product validation and testing.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and cycles.
- Managing various technical aspects including metal, flowforming, spinforming, and cold working.
- Working in a machine shop environment and operating CNC machines.
- Applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials for production optimization.
- Conducting heat treatment processes and ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety in the manufacturing process.
- Assisting in the training of production personnel in new or existing methods.
- Documenting, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in a machine shop environment.
- Hands-on experience with metal.
- Experience with CNC machine operation.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
