Laboratory Corporation is hiring: Senior Service Courier in Linthicum

LabCorp is seeking a Senior Service Representative/Courier to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. Additionally, for only $100 per month, you have the option of taking this vehicle home for personal use.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 Per Hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; hours may vary upon routes, with start times ranging from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and end times from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Load necessary supplies for daily pickups.
2. Complete daily pickup schedule promptly.
3. Deliver all pickups to your branch at the end of your shift.
4. Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
5. Operate a company vehicle safely and obey traffic laws.
6. Use handheld electronic devices to manage pickups.
7. Coordinate with the dispatcher for additional pickups.
8. Assess traffic, routes, and weather conditions as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years old.
• Previous courier or driving experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Punctuality and strong time management skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities for customer issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
