Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Forklift Operator in Dallas, Texas. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.

  • Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Friday - Sunday 4:00 am - 2:30 pm PLUS Monday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
  • Highly thorough and dependable
  • Punctual with good attendance
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision
  • High initiative and accuracy under pressure
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work using health and safety methods
  • Flexible schedule on various shifts
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
  • Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks
  • Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours
  • Perform duties as assigned
