Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Forklift Operator in Dallas, Texas.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

  • Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
  • Additional Pay: $2.75 per hour
  • Schedule: Third Shift, Sunday-Tuesday 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, every other Wednesday 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License (certified)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
  • Highly thorough and dependable
  • Punctual with good attendance
  • Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
  • High initiative and accuracy, even under pressure
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Adherence to health and safety methods
  • Flexible schedule for various shifts
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
  • Ensure accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
  • Handle warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned
