Retail Sales Associate at Verizon – full-time role in a Verizon retail store.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using effective communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon-sponsored events.

Compensation

The starting base pay rate for the location listed on this job requisition is: $19.71 per hour. Commission opportunities: up to $16,000 per year in individual-based commissions if you hit all sales goals, with the potential to earn a total of $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. In addition, eligible employees may receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus (subject to terms and conditions).

What We’re Looking For

You’ll Need To Have

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Openness to pick up additional shifts, especially during peak periods

Even better if you have

• Experience in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience and strong customer-facing communication
• Customer service experience

Additional Details

This is a workplace-based, onsite role. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
