This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a reputable organization in Oldsmar, FL. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and assisting with ad hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
• Review, process, and reconcile employee expense reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and proper coding to accounts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Monitor daily cash activity, reconcile bank accounts, and assist with cash flow management to ensure accurate reporting
• Assist with ad hoc requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry a plus
• Proficiency with ERP systems and solid Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments
