Overview

Treviso Bay HOA is hiring for a Staff Accountant. This role provides accounting-related administrative assistance.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all Troon Golf accounting standards.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports such as Batch Reports and Cash Reports.
  • Reviews and processes invoices, including updating the general ledger.
  • Reviews and processes expense reports.
  • Maintains record keeping, filing systems, and processes daily mail.
  • Assists in the reconciliation of accounts payable, vendor statements, loans, and various general ledger accounts as needed.
  • Assists with month-end close, review, and print of reports.
  • Prepares accounts receivable statements.
  • Assists in performing daily revenue audits for revenue-generating departments.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Frequently sits, uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears. Occasionally stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Environment/Noise

Noise level is moderate.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for equipment are in English).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of property management system.
