Purpose
Performs Master level work in the installation, maintenance, repair and service of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Perform load calculations, panel installations, conduit runs, and wiring terminations.
Advise and Coordinate with upper management to ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local, and state codes.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and materials used.
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment at ARL and LTTS.
Mentor, and train apprentices and journeymen electricians.
Provide electrical support for various research projects.
Assist other trades as needed.
Required Qualifications
HS/GED
Licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Master Electrician.
Three years of experience as a licensed electrician.
US Citizen. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of experience as a Master electrician.
Strong knowledge of NEC, state and local electrical codes.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range
$62,000-68,000+/negotiable depending on qualifications.
