Residential Garbage Truck Driver
with a valid
Class A or B CDL
to join our team in
Frederickson, Washington
. If you're a safety-focused driver with experience in waste collection-or looking to start a stable career in the waste management industry-we want to hear from you!
Pay & Schedule:
Hourly wage:
$35.00-$35.50/hr
Schedule:
Work Monday through Friday, with the chance to earn more through occasional Saturdays and overtime
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a residential garbage truck on designated routes
Read and follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
Load and unload waste materials-sometimes without assistance
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and dispose of refuse
Provide courteous customer service and complete other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
Physically demanding role-requires lifting over 50 lbs
Exposure to outdoor weather, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise
Must follow all safety protocols around moving mechanical parts
Minimum Requirements:
Valid
Class A or B CDL
with air brake endorsement
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
High school diploma or GED preferred
At least
2 years of relevant driving experience
Basic knowledge of truck components for inspections
