Full time Medical Assistant needed for busy hand/wrist/elbow surgeon in North Oklahoma City

Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant will assist the provider with rooming, interviewing, taking vitals, providing accurate documentation in EHR and processing forms to include referrals, prescriptions, etc.
Will be responsible for bracing and casting as ordered by physician.
The MA has a critical role in keeping the fast paced clinic running efficiently so they must be reliable, self motivated, have excellent people skills and able to work both front and back office when needed.
Non-clinical functions include triage patient calls, scheduling, authorizations, keeping exam rooms cleaned/restocked and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
RMA Certification preferred but not required.
Knowledge of electronic health records (Epic) a plus.
Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
Worker's Compensation knowledge is a plus.
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
