The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting basic maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting under supervision to ensure smooth operations of production equipment and facilities. This role starts at $27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and assist with preventative maintenance on insulation production equipment.
- Perform basic repairs under supervision (e.g., replace belts, fuses, or bearings).
- Assist in equipment inspections, including RTO systems, chillers, and basic HVAC components.
- Complete work orders and log maintenance activities accurately using CMMS systems.
- Monitor performance of machinery, reporting abnormalities or potential issues to senior team members.
- Assist with maintenance of tools and parts inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out protocols and PPE compliance.

- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations and market demands.
- Be responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical or maintenance roles required.
Skills
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of mechanics, tools, and systems.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively under supervision in a team-based environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify minor issues and assist in troubleshooting.
- Safety Awareness: Strong adherence to health and safety protocols.
Work Environment
- Frequent standing, lifting (30-50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
- Exposure to noise, heat, cold, and hazardous chemicals (e.g., butane, propane, methyl formate).
