Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting basic maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting under supervision to ensure smooth operations of production equipment and facilities. This role starts at $27.00 per hour.

Essential Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance checks and assist with preventative maintenance on insulation production equipment.
• Perform basic repairs under supervision (e.g., replace belts, fuses, or bearings).
• Assist in equipment inspections, including RTO systems, chillers, and basic HVAC components.
• Complete work orders and log maintenance activities accurately using CMMS systems.
• Monitor machinery performance and report abnormalities or potential issues to senior team members.
• Assist with maintenance of tools and parts inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out protocols and PPE compliance.

Compliance Obligations

• Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Product Compliance Policy.
• Ensure duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with laws, regulations, and market demands.
• Responsible for tasks to achieve compliance goals within the Compliance Management System.
• Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to a supervisor, manager, Leadership Team member, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical or maintenance roles required.

Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of mechanics, tools, and systems.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively under supervision in a team-based environment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify minor issues and assist in troubleshooting.
• Safety Awareness: Strong adherence to health and safety protocols.

Work Environment

• Frequent standing, lifting (30-50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
• Exposure to noise, heat, cold, and hazardous chemicals.
