Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Three shifts per week (3x12s) with 36 guaranteed hours weekly • Every other weekend and holiday requirement • No on-call responsibilities • 13-26 week assignment duration • Must have 2+ years of Med Surg Tele experience with EPIC EMR system • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Virginia State License or Compact License • Patient ratio averages 1:7 (not guaranteed) • Float requirements include Medical Telemetry, MIU, and various overflow areas (5F, 4F, 3F, 3G, CCRAU, 2B) • Work with EPIC electronic medical records system • Dress code requires navy blue or white scrubs per facility policy • No block scheduling available • May request one holiday off with no more than two days for holiday RTO consideration Facility: This healthcare facility is a 495-bed medical center designated as a Level II Trauma Center, earning its 9th consecutive year with an "A" grade in Patient Safety. The facility features at least 30 beds per unit and maintains high standards for patient care and safety. The medical center utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system and provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community.
