About The Position Gastroenterology Locums Physician - South Carolina Inpatient-only Gastroenterology assignment near Florence, South Carolina with block scheduling and no ERCP requirements.
Highlights Block scheduling; choose 1-2 weeks/month No ERCP or moderate sedation required Summer and fall dates still available APP support Monday-Friday
Practice Setting Inpatient-only coverage at a regional hospital No clinic or outpatient volume APP helps with weekday rounding and consults Weekend procedures performed in the OR if needed
Schedule 24-hour call with onsite daytime responsibilities Rounding, consults, and procedures ~8-10 hours/day Lighter consult volume on weekends Assignment blocks open through late 2025
Cases and Procedures Focus on inpatient GI scopes and emergent procedures ~15-20 new consults/day plus inpatient scopes No ERCP required
Requirements Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology Active South Carolina license (or open to those seeking it) BLS and DEA required
Travel Accommodations Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
