Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Walkersville, MD! This is a 3 months contract role (with possible extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: Walkersville, MD 21793

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19 - 21.50/hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection activities accurately and on schedule under supervisor direction.
• Collect and prepare specimens with confidence, following forensic and clinical protocols.
• Verify patient demographics, obtain initials/signatures, and confirm specimen labeling in the patient’s presence.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment.
• Keep accurate records and required documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and coworkers.
• Travel as required to multiple locations; provide coverage at PSC or in-office phlebotomy sites with minimal notice.
• Handle multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume setting.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety standards, and dress code.

Qualifications:

Phlebotomy certification Required

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
