About The Position Urgent Care Physician Assistant Locums - Connecticut, PRN Coverage PRN urgent care shifts available through March 2026 in Connecticut; no call, outpatient only.
Highlights No call, shifts only Runs November 2025 to March 2026 Weekend coverage prioritized, weekdays available
Practice Setting Outpatient urgent care clinics across Hartford and nearby counties May split days between two close locations Treat all ages, including pediatrics
Schedule 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p Flexible PRN blocks with no long-term commitment Must be open to last-minute schedule adjustments
Cases and Procedures Bread-and-butter urgent care Suturing, wound care, incision and drainage Splinting, basic labs, EKGs, X-rays No inpatient or hospital coverage
Requirements PA or NP with active Connecticut license BLS and DEA required Urgent care experience with all ages
Travel Accommodations Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed Airfare not included; local or regional travelers preferred
