Description In this role, you will be responsible for all nursing and clinical services. This requires direct nursing care, clinic administration, patient flow coordination and supervision of clinic nursing staff.
Interaction with faculty, residents, patients and staff to maximize patient care and ensure patient safety. Coordination and assignment of tasks and duties of all nursing and supplemental staff based on established protocols, policies and procedures. Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing supervision of the nursing staff, ensuring that
all applicable policies and
standards are maintained at all times, planning for and adjusting staffing on a daily basis to maintain efficient and adequate operations, conducting
the evaluation process, maintaining yearly staff
competencies, providing all necessary training for new and existing staff and the maintenance and upkeep of the practice. You will also be responsible for managing the Quality Assurance process and reviewing staff timesheets for accuracy based on the daily schedule. Salary range: $36.49.24-$76.05 Hourly Qualifications Required: CA LVN License Current and valid BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with ability to administer CPR Possess IV therapy certification Working knowledge of electronic health record system (EPIC) Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments and take appropriate action Skill in working independently and following through assignments with minimal direction and in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of staff assignments Ability to work with patients, physicians and nursing staff in a diplomatic and professional manner in order to maximize clinic operations Experience with varied computer hardware and software including word processing, spreadsheets and database programs Ability to exhibit flexibility in adjusting to changing demands and requirements of the position, work a flexible schedule and travel as needed Ability to push, pull or carry more than 30 lbs Highly desired: Bilingual in Spanish Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience
