Full-Time Family Medicine Physician for Large Public Health and Hospital System in Silicon Valley Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public teaching healthcare system affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, in San Jose, CA, is seeking full-time BE/BC family medicine physicians in our Department of Family Medicine at a variety of clinical locations, including the transgender/gender health center and urgent care clinics. Opportunities for additional moonlighting for last year residents also exist within our healthcare system. About the Organization

SCVH is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH comprises four hospitals: SCVMC (731 beds), O’Connor Hospital (358 beds), Saint Louise Regional Hospital (93 beds), and Regional Medical Center (258 beds). It includes a network of primary care clinics, urgent care clinics, dental services, primary care behavioral health services, and a broad range of specialty services in the Valley Specialty Center. SCVMC hosts four residency programs and one fellowship training program, and partners with Stanford University School of Medicine and Stanford Healthcare for clinical training. SCVMC is an ACS-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, an ABA-verified Burn Center, a Primary Stroke Center, a Level 4 NICU, and a CARF-accredited Rehabilitation Center. SCVMC also serves the County and the larger region. Providers in our health system may use our integrated electronic health record (Epic). The Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) recognized SCVMC for achieving Stage 7 for its inpatient and outpatient EHR. About the Community

Our Primary Care Division provides full-spectrum outpatient care at sites across Santa Clara County. A newly constructed Vietnamese American Service Center will focus on serving the Vietnamese community in the South Bay, providing health and human services with language and culture in mind. Physicians join a collegial work environment with robust specialty and ancillary support and an integrated EHR (Epic). About the Positions

We are seeking Family Medicine physicians in our primary care clinics, urgent care clinic, and gender health center. Integrative medicine training or experience is highly desirable. Full scope of practice is preferred, including pediatrics; ambulatory obstetrics/gynecology scope is desirable but not required. One position seeks a provider comfortable serving a largely Vietnamese patient population; knowledge of culture and language is desirable. About Compensation and Benefits
