IM Primary Care Physicians for Large Public Health and Hospital System in Silicon Valley Better Health for All. Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public teaching healthcare system affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking full-time and extra‑help BC/BE internal medicine physicians to join our Division of Primary Care in a variety of clinical locations. About the organization
Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and serves the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH comprises four hospitals: SCVMC (731 beds), O’Connor Hospital (358 beds), Saint Louise Regional Hospital (93 beds), and Regional Medical Center (258 beds). It includes eleven primary care clinics, urgent care clinics, dental services, primary care behavioral health services, and a broad range of specialty services in the Valley Specialty Center. SCVMC hosts four residency programs and one fellowship, and partners with Stanford University School of Medicine and Stanford Healthcare for clinical training. SCVMC is an ACS‑verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, an ABA‑verified Burn Center, a Primary Stroke Center, a Level 4 NICU, and a CARF‑accredited Rehabilitation Center. The health system uses the Epic EHR and has been recognized by HIMSS at Stage 7 for its EHR implementation. About the community

The Division of Primary Care in the Department of Medicine includes over 55 internal medicine primary care physicians who provide services at eleven health centers from Sunnyvale to Gilroy. The division offers a collegial work environment with strong specialty and ancillary support, and opportunities to teach internal medicine residents in our large internal medicine residency program. About the position
We are seeking internal medicine physicians to work in primary care clinics, custody health services, and a gender health center. Integrative medicine training or experience is highly desirable. Compensation and benefits
We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including 36 days of leave per year, 13 holidays, 5 CME days, medical/dental/vision coverage, long-term disability, AD&D, life insurance, and retirement plans. Paid malpractice with tail coverage and possible relocation reimbursement (pre-approval required) are included. SCVH employees may be eligible for federal loan repayment assistance through NHSC and related programs (further information available through the NHSC and CalMedForce programs).
