Director of Business Development

to expand our client base across enterprise brands. This is a senior, high-accountability role focused on building authentic relationships with CMOs and brand leaders, leading consultative sales conversations, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. Grain Group | New York, NY (Hybrid) What You’ll Do

Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise opportunities across CPG, Home, Wellness, DTC, Retail, and e-commerce. Drive growth by connecting with senior marketers and brand leaders – opening doors and advancing relationships at the C-suite level. Lead consultative conversations that align client KPIs with Grain Group’s media, commerce, and analytics solutions. Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposals, and closing. Forecast accurately, maintain CRM discipline, and deliver against quarterly growth targets. Represent Grain Group at select conferences and events, staying connected to the center of culture. Partner with subject matter experts in Paid Search, Social, Retail Media, and Lifecycle Marketing to build best-in-class proposals. Collaborate closely with agency leadership to shape positioning and RFP responses. What We’re Looking For

8+ years of enterprise business development or senior client leadership in digital marketing, adtech, or agency environments. Proven track record of closing $MM+ annual deals with C-level decision makers. Stable career trajectory with demonstrated success over multiple years, not a series of short stints. Strong working knowledge of

paid media, retail media, analytics, and e-commerce

– able to speak credibly and confidently without relying on hand-offs. Results-driven operator: relentless, ambitious, and motivated by hitting numbers. Excellent communicator who can bridge strategy, media, and data with clarity and authority. Comfortable navigating

long sales cycles

and enterprise buying processes. NYC-based (hybrid in-office), able to collaborate closely with the leadership team. Compensation

$180K–$210K base + bonus structure
