Serve as the training leader for the designated business function within an integrated instructional design team. Help subject matter experts create effective instructional content and manage content within an LMS. Leverage ADDIE standards to support technical teams in building training definitions, skill checklists, examination criteria, and course content for Live Instructor and eLearning. Lead discovery sessions with subject matter experts (SME). Build SkillChecklists and examinations based on SME input. Coach and help build course content for live instructor-led training. Coach and help build course content for eLearning online content. Serve as Training Leader for one of the following functions: Sales, Quoting CAE, Engineering, or New Industrial Markets. Travel required: 10% for facility visits at any of 7 global factory locations. Promote and elevate the Nexus Controls Internal Training Brand. Develop new technical training curricula and content using instructional design techniques (e.g., ADDIE). Drive continuous improvement feedback loop discussions to improve training. Manage LMS content integration within the overall LMS Architecture: Create, Maintain, Manage. Coordinate student scheduling for live instructor classes and ensure effective eLearning content access and organization. Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for Nexus Controls business, including student registration and support for instructors and instructional designers. Support Training Coordinator and internal staff as needed. Manage internal training requests for LMS enrollment and internal class alignment. Website Management & LMS Alignment; ensure LMS is linked to website and update training offerings as needed. Instructional Designer for Services Responsibilities

Define and document learning objectives; work with SMEs to determine content for trainings. Create/manage instructional materials: Courses, curricula, student guides or training manuals. Generate the layout of learning supports and design content to optimize learning. Redesign content to match learner needs and create visual, audio, and interactive learning tools. System Administration

Manage SharePoint training design repository. Create automated workflows to increase efficiency. Qualifications/Requirements

4-year degree (BS in Chemistry) from an accredited university/college, or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of commercial experience. 10 years of industrial design experience; ADDIE experience preferred but other instructional design standards are acceptable. Language required: English fluent. Desired

Instructional design experience and skill development curriculum design. Gas turbine, client steam turbine and BOP knowledge. Turbine control engineering or services commissioning. Demonstrated communication & organizational skills. Soft skills trainings or certifications. Proficiency with Excel, MS Office, MS Project, MS Project Builder, and Windows OS navigation. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork. Technical communication & business acumen to drive overall solutions.
