Overview
Location: Canton MA, New York City NY, Jersey City NJ, Edison NJ or Toronto Canada (Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office). In this position you’ll be based in one of these offices for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for part of your week. In Toronto, the standard work week is 37.5 hours, typically Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In this role additional hours may be required to fulfill leadership responsibilities. We are seeking a Director of Portfolio Marketing who will translate business plans and initiatives into marketing needs across multiple key North American Issuer/Transfer Agency business solutions and segments, including but not limited to future clients, law firms/IPO segment, AGM services, and other transfer agency and capital markets solutions, including new or emerging capabilities. Responsibilities
Own the strategy, development and execution of the business segment/solutions marketing plans in partnership with key business leaders and stakeholders. Create differentiated value propositions, market-focused messaging, marketing, sales enablement and engagement programs, go-to-market programming, and cross-channel marketing programs to drive competitive differentiation and establish client and advisor relationships. Build marketing strategy and execution plans for designated solutions/segments aligned with business objectives; develop collateral, sales enablement content, thought leadership, and integrated cross-channel campaigns. Research and develop buyer personas, understand the buyer journey, and translate insights into content and campaigns. Develop compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks targeted at buyers; activate them into content and campaigns. Inform content strategy and develop collateral, touch points, sales enablement, case studies, videos, testimonials and overall content roadmap (with the content team) to accelerate the sales cycle. Plan and execute industry events, sponsorships and webinars; manage participation and measure ROI in collaboration with the events team. Develop sales enablement plans to drive adoption of offerings; create innovative sales tools and best practices. Optimize marketing mix across channels and create collateral to support integrated campaigns. Support delivery of sales enablement assets aligned with the buyer journey and RFP/pursuits processes. Oversee launch planning and go-to-market strategies for new products, solutions and services, including the launch of Computershare’s innovation roadmap. Formulate market sizing, segmentation and targeting strategies to inform global approach. Manage relationships with third-party analysts or primary research vendors as appropriate. Collaborate on competitive/industry analysis and identify differentiation opportunities or gaps. Develop customer references, testimonials, and case studies for external and internal use. Conduct win/loss interviews and analyze customer adoption to provide feedback to the offering team. Monitor and report on the performance of marketing programs and communicate results to stakeholders. Collaborate across marketing to drive end-to-end program delivery and integrated cross-channel campaigns. What will you bring to the role?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master’s Degree (preferred). 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in financial services, equities, governance and/or fintech segments; experience marketing complex financial solutions. Proven ability to drive engagement and business results through strategic and tactical B2B marketing programs and GTM strategies. Experience developing and executing high-impact B2B marketing programs and a full marketing mix strategy. Strong ability to craft differentiated value propositions and messaging in support of content, campaigns, and touchpoints. Experience marketing financial services or complex services solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences. Strategic thinker who can translate strategy into marketing plans and execute. Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution. Proficient in marketing analytics, CRM systems, and performance reporting. Self-starter with cross-functional collaboration skills and strong project management. ABM, experience with marketing automation and CRM (preferred). Experience with equity issuer/transfer agency/capital markets and governance solutions (preferred). Leadership experience (preferred). The typical base pay range for this role is $135,000 - $165,000 per year. This base pay range is specific to New York and New Jersey and may not apply to other locations. About Us
