Overview We are looking for a

Media Buying Supervisor

to join our team in our Dallas, Texas office. As the

Media Buying Supervisor , you will assist the Director of Media Buying to ensure flawless media investment and executional excellence, while maintaining operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, who is team oriented, and has a sense of urgency to obtain results and meet deadlines. This is a hybrid position, in office 2 days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee of all national and local media investments (linear & digital) from start to finish for a select set of clients

Liaison between buying team(s) and account team or client

Provide all necessary reporting and ensures client deliverables are delivered on time and accurately

Work with buying teams to ensure process is followed, all checks and balances are met, and all steps are completed

Make sure adequate timelines are provided for proper execution without error

Manage a team of media managers and associates responsible for negotiations, implementation, and placement of media

Negotiate, purchases and monitors video (liner/digital), audio (linear/digital), print, OOH, and digital buys for a select set of market and/or clients

Ensures direct reports are engaged and growing. Identify and provide proper training.

Stays on top of industry trends and changes and provides necessary POVs to stakeholders

Regularly meet with direct reports for feedback and discuss challenges and successes

Provide regular status updates to the Director, Media Buying on all pertinent matters

Solve problems and provide solutions, while keeping both the client and agencies best interest in mind

Provide check-ins with account leads and media counterparts to ensure projects are on track an understand upcoming projects

Identify, evaluate, and escalate issues

Skills and Qualifications

6+ years of Media buying experience required, to include linear network television and radio; Network experience is strongly preferred

Strong understanding of Nielsen and other and media research tools

Strong mathematical (to include media math) and analytical abilities

Media Buying software: Mediaocean, Strata, Tapscan, etc.

Self-motivated, detailed oriented and an independent thinker

Communicate clearly and effectively to others, written and verbal

Plan and organizes work; sets priorities and manages time well

Manages large volume of work efficiently, effectively, and productively

Expert experience using MS Office preferred
