Our client is seeking a skilled Event Marketing Manager to support their financial services marketing team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining strategic thinking with hands-on event execution. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver impactful events, conferences, and sponsorships that strengthen brand presence and drive engagement.
Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute proprietary events, third-party conferences, and sponsorship activations. Partner with sales and marketing teams to define event objectives, messaging, and themes. Oversee all event logistics, including invitations, registration, collateral, booth coordination, and speaker support. Build and manage project plans, host planning calls, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deliverables. Track and manage budgets, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within financial guidelines. Measure ROI and provide post-event reporting to inform future strategies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5–6 years of event marketing or marketing communications experience, ideally within financial services. Proven expertise in event logistics and execution, with strong project management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with CVENT and Salesforce preferred. Seniority level
