The Opportunity

Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, Deal Management works on complex, high-profile global transactions across a broad client portfolio and industry sectors. We prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify value-enhancement ideas, and advise on risk mitigation and successful changes to operations, functions, and people.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Director, manage and execute operationally focused projects within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution Deal Management practice.

Execute and manage projects across sectors, supporting client service teams in developing and executing strategies for transactions.

Develop experience across engagements, including pre-deal (operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (integration planning, tracking).

Maintain a commercial mindset and drive value for clients in a consulting-based role.

To qualify for the role, you must have

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics with 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 3 years of related work experience.

MBA is preferred.

Significant management consulting experience.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.

Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.

Ability to assess technology, operations, or manufacturing infrastructure in detail.

Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.

Ability to prioritize on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to build lasting relationships internally and externally.

Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.

Ideally, you will also have

A proven record of excellence in mergers or acquisitions transactions.

Experience within another large professional services organization.

Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

What We Offer You

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The base salary range for this job in all US locations is $205,000 to $235,000. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a range of paid time off options.

Hybrid model: most client-serving roles require in-person collaboration 40-60% of the time over a project or year.

Flexible vacation policy and designated EY holidays, with additional paid leave as needed for well-being.
