Support the College of Education by facilitating engaging, innovative, online instruction through maximizing learning management systems, synchronous and asynchronous tools, and course/content development and implementation. Foster relationships with COE faculty and design team members to re-envision or adapt existing teaching content and assist in designing new online content. Collaborate with two-dimensional visual designers, instructional videographers/editors, animation specialists, remote subject matter experts, and teaching assistants. Review course materials and make research-based recommendations regarding quality, engaging learning experiences, online teaching practices, grammatical accuracy, and functionality of course components. Provide technical support to faculty and students by managing the course management system, synchronous/asynchronous systems, and third-party tools. SUPPORT OF ONGOING FUNDED PROJECTS Lead end-to-end design and production of short-form, high-impact learning assets for the Quality & Patient Safety initiative (QPSi) Academy and Knowledgebase. Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate complex content into concise scripts, infographics, and micro-videos; manage cross-functional project plans and timelines; coordinate studio and animation workflows; ensure accessibility and brand alignment; publish assets to web/LMS. Develop targeted instructional design for funded research and contracts using current research on effective online instructional development and implementation. Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To: Creating innovative instructional design and media production, including editing and co-creating with SME. Managing video and written learning assets by reviewing scripts, creating storyboards, and visual briefs. Supporting and overseeing studio recording, animation, motion graphics, and iterative edits to completion and stakeholder satisfaction. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Develop and maintain a project management plan for funded projects with milestones to completion. Support university faculty, external partners/clients, and design team members to re-envision or adapt teaching content and assist in online learning design. Serve as a primary contact for funded research project activity related to instructional design; collaborate with graphic design, video production, and application programming teams. Drive efficient feedback loops and secure explicit approvals for final delivery and archiving. Additional Duties Project management and stakeholder collaboration; own project plans, milestones, and review cycles; communicate status/risks. Coordinate with external parties (SMEs, administrators, external project managers) and internal video producers/editors, graphic designers, and web team to client satisfaction. Maintain workflows for timely feedback and approvals. QUALITY ASSURANCE, BRANDING, AND ADA COMPLIANCE

Maintain high pedagogical standards using established guidelines (Quality Matters and UF Quality). Apply QA to educational materials and ensure branding consistency within materials. Maintain WCAG/504 and 508 compliance, including captioning and accessible color palettes/fonts. ○ Ensure UF, COE or grant branding is established and consistent within educational materials. ○ Maintain accessibility compliance on all materials. ○ Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for course development, templating, naming conventions, and revision tracking; iteratively improve workflows. TECHNICAL WORKFLOWS AND PUBLISHING

Manage Knowledgebase/LMS publishing across multiple platforms. Light web/LMS content management and analytics to monitor engagement. Provide occasional faculty training on processes, assets, and best practices. Promoting the mission of ETC

Assist in establishing, directing, and supervising distance education programs in the College of Education; promote ETC and COE mission campus-wide and within higher education. Additional Responsibilities

Present work at conferences and pitch meetings; provide training/webinars to support best online practices; participate in committees and communities of practice; communicate with team members to ensure goals are met. Provide advice to College administrators on online program strategy and operations; assess instructional effectiveness of produced materials. Will need to be available to meet with instructional staff on some nights and weekends. This position is time limited. Qualifications

Required:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience. Preferred: 3+ years of instructional design experience producing micro-learning or media-rich online content for adult/professional learners. Ability to translate expert/clinical content into concise scripts and visual storyboards. Demonstrated project management across creative production (video, graphics, animation) with tight timelines and multiple stakeholders. Strong stakeholder communication; guiding SMEs via structured processes and actionable feedback. Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG/Section 508), captioning workflows, and brand alignment. Proficiency with LMS/web publishing (e.g., Canvas) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com/Trello). Experience in healthcare/CME or academic health settings; ability to adapt clinical content to plain language. Familiarity with animation and post-production workflows; ability to brief and review effectively. Ability to use AI tools responsibly to accelerate early drafts with strong human QA. Knowledge of micro-learning and case-based design. Detail-oriented and focused on learner-focused content. Special Instructions To Applicants
