Overview
Our client, a large regional bank, is looking for a Middle Market Commercial Lender to join their Dallas-Fort Worth team. This role focuses on originating, underwriting, and managing commercial banking relationships with companies typically generating $25MM–$250MM in annual revenue. Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a portfolio of middle market commercial clients across diverse industries. Source and structure new loan opportunities, including working capital lines, equipment financing, and commercial real estate loans. Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Perform financial analysis and credit underwriting to assess borrower risk and determine appropriate loan structures. Partner with credit analysts, portfolio managers, and credit officers to prepare credit memos and ensure timely approvals. Monitor portfolio performance, manage renewals, and proactively identify credit or operational risks. Collaborate closely with internal partners including treasury management, deposit services, and private banking to offer holistic financial solutions. Participate in community and networking events to enhance visibility and generate new business opportunities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 5+ years of commercial lending experience, with a focus on middle market clients. Formal credit training strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to structure complex credit solutions and manage large loan portfolios. Strong knowledge of commercial banking products, services, and regulatory requirements. Proven track record of business development and portfolio growth. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Deep understanding of the Dallas-Fort Worth business landscape is a plus. Details
