Overview
Sterile Processing Manager to oversee the Providence Mission Hospital Sterile Processing Departments in Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach, CA. This is a full-time position. In charge of effectively and efficiently running the entire operations of the Sterile Processing Departments, the backbone of Mission and Laguna Beach Hospital O.R. The SPD Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and controls all the activities related to equipment/instrument decontamination, processing, sterilization, and quality control. This position involves foresight and determines priorities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of department service without sacrificing safety, aseptic, and infection control standards. The SPD Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and controls all activities related to equipment/instrument decontamination, processing, sterilization, and quality control to ensure timely, efficient, and safe department service in accordance with safety, aseptic and infection control standards. Required Qualifications
Graduation from academic or military program in Surgical Technology. 5 years of experience in hospital sterile processing as Team Leader or Supervisor.
