The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and is seeking a full time General Clinical Gastroenterologist to join as faculty. We are seeking a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island. Responsibilities

The GI division sees a large volume of diverse GI pathology including non-transplant liver disease. Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient management, performing general procedures including endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP and Esophageal Motility. The position involves teaching of residents and fellows with potential for clinical research. Qualifications

MD degree Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number Compensation and Appointment

We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from $349,000 to $469,000 FTE, annualized including on-call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. Application
