Supplier Quality Management: Oversee and manage the supplier quality assurance process, including audits, performance evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives. Compliance and Standards: Ensure supplier compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies; collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies related to supplier quality. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of supplier files including performance, audits, onboarding, quality metrics, supplier changes, supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and ensure accuracy and availability for internal and external reviews. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, incoming inspection and production teams to align supplier capabilities with company needs. Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 0 to 2 years experience working in an engineering environment, preferably a regulated environment Great written and oral communication skills Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and working with databases Fast learner who can solve problems quickly while continually improving and innovating Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% for supplier site visits Nice-to-Have
