About the Department Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ETI) builds and releases new and bold products. We leverage Cloudflare\'s edge and network to deliver tools and products at scale that solve problems for customers. The Workers Onboarding & Integrations team provides the best-in-class experience for Workers users to move fast and bring ideas to life.
What you will do As a member of the Workers team, you will collaborate with Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to design, build and support large-scale, customer-facing systems on Cloudflare\'s edge computing platform. You will drive projects from idea to release, delivering solutions across the software stack to empower Cloudflare customers. You can expect to work with languages and technologies including, but not limited to Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, GraphQL, Rust, and C++.
Requisite Skills
2+ years professional software engineering experience
Experience using Cloudflare Workers or Pages
Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React
Experience with SQL and common relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Experience with Kubernetes or similar deployment tools
Product mindset and comfortable talking to customers and partners
Experience delivering projects end-to-end - gathering requirements, writing technical specifications, implementing, testing, and releasing
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Able to participate in on-call shifts
Bonus Points
Experience with Go, C++, or Rust
Experience with metrics and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
Experience scaling systems to meet increasing performance and usability demands
Knowledge of OAuth and building integrations with third parties
Has mentored interns or junior engineers
