beauty company , is looking for:
Plant Director
The Plant Director is responsible for the comprehensive management of plant operations, ensuring seamless production aligned with strategic and sustainability goals. This role requires an experienced and hands-on leader who can optimize production flow, champion continuous improvement, and maintain high standards for quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Main Responsibilities
oversee all day-to-day activities of the production facility, including mixing, filling, warehousing, and maintenance operations;
ensure optimal use of plant capacity and resources to meet production targets, while minimizing downtime and bottlenecks;
develop and enforce production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts and customer demand;
define and track plant performance metrics;
analyze variances and implement corrective actions to continuously improve performance;
monitors and implement corrective actions on Plant financial KPIs;
lead the plant’s sustainability roadmap in accordance with the company’s ESG goals;
implement energy-saving, waste-reduction, and circular economy initiatives;
ensure compliance with environmental regulations;
build, lead, and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary team across production, quality, maintenance, HSE, and logistics;
promote a strong safety culture and ensure training programs are in place for all staff;
implement a performance management framework that encourages accountability and continuous skill development;
ensure all production processes adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 standards;
oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and utilities;
collaborate with Planning, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability and efficient flow of goods;
optimize inventory management and warehouse operations to reduce holding costs and ensure traceability;
act as the plant’s primary liaison with corporate leadership and other functions;
support new product industrialization and technology transfers from pilot to full-scale production.
Requirements
master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or related field;
+10 years in plant or operations management, ideally within pharma, chemicals or fast-moving consumer goods sectors;
strong grasp of production systems, continuous improvement, automation, and ERP tools (e.g., SAP);
proactive servant leadership and people driven mindset;
an analytical mind with strong corporate approach;
professional proficiency in English.
