Vice President, F&B Operations CALA & Openings Americas – Hilton This remote position is based in South Florida or Dallas, TX. You will join the F&B Operations & Development – Americas team overseeing the daily functions of the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) managed hotel portfolio and lead the F&B opening process for the Americas region. As the VP of F&B Operations CALA & Openings Americas, you will lead strategic initiatives and operational excellence across ~60 luxury and full‑service hotels and approximately $400M in F&B revenues. You will oversee all new hotel openings across the Americas region including feasibility analysis, F&B programming, proforma reviews, pre‑opening milestones, and post‑opening hand‑off to the Regional F&B leader. Reporting to the SVP F&B Operations & Development Americas, you will drive F&B revenue and performance, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure alignment with corporate goals through cross‑functional collaboration. What will I be doing?
As a VP of Food & Beverage Operations CALA & Openings Americas, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for F&B operations across hotels and resorts in the CALA region, driving performance, innovation, and guest satisfaction. You will lead a team of Directors on the Americas F&B Operations team, supporting new hotel openings, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing F&B talent. You will implement best practices, optimize financial performance, and shape the future of F&B across the region. Your Responsibilities Will Also Include Provide strategic leadership and oversight for F&B operations across hotels and resorts in the CALA region, and support the new hotel opening process for F&B. Ensure high standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction across all F&B functions. Implement best practices and innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction. Guide F&B performance by implementing strategies, optimizing outlet operations, and enhancing guest satisfaction metrics. Analyze financial performance, implement cost‑control measures, drive F&B revenue growth, and achieve profitability goals. Represent F&B Operations in forums and contribute to broader organizational strategy. Lead a team of 1 Sr Director F&B Operations, 1 Director F&B Operations, and 1 Director F&B Openings & Special Projects with clear objectives and metrics. Evaluate current and upcoming property-level F&B and culinary talent to ensure capable teams. Participate in recruitment and selection of new hotel F&B Leaders. How You Will Collaborate With Others Partner with cross‑functional teams including Brands, Growth & Openings, Development, HR, and Finance to ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives. Engage with Area Vice Presidents, hotel General Managers, F&B Directors, and Executive Chefs to foster accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Represent F&B on leadership team calls to share updates relevant to the function. Collaborate with VP Culinary to demonstrate cohesive leadership to Regional and on‑property teams. Provide senior leadership support to the SVP, F&B Operations Americas with relevant business updates, team performance, or project insights. Initiatives You Will Take Ownership Of Conduct regular performance reviews and financial assessments of hotel F&B operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. Lead engagement with key vendors to deliver innovative solutions for F&B operations and service delivery. Support transitions of new properties and any re-concepting, renovations, or openings in your portfolio. Enhance and develop F&B SOPs to streamline the new hotel opening process. Own the F&B opening process for all new hotel openings in the Americas region. Evolve tools and resources to streamline the F&B opening process, establishing clear roles and partnerships with Regional F&B leaders. Develop and inspire current and future F&B leaders through leadership development and mentorship programs. Qualifications and Attributes Ten (10) years of experience in Full‑Service Restaurants, F&B hotel operations, and hospitality operations. Three (3) years of experience in new hotel openings. Three (3) years of experience in the Caribbean and Latin America. Proven track record as a strategic leader with strong financial acumen and operational expertise. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Willing to travel up to 75%. Desirable Capabilities Experience in a highly matrixed environment. Examples of leading cross‑functional projects from inception through completion with ROI delivered.
