The Senior Product Designer plays a crucial role in shaping innovative and high-quality designs that align with project visions and customer requirements. This position emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, prototyping, and mentoring to drive design excellence and foster creativity within the team. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate With Stakeholders To Thoroughly Understand And Refine Design Requirements, Ensuring Alignment With Project Objectives And Customer Needs. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations Using Design Tools Such As Cad Software And 3D Modeling, Validating Design Choices And Enhancing Usability. Mentor And Train Junior Designers By Sharing Knowledge And Expertise Through Structured Training Sessions And Comprehensive Documentation, Fostering A Culture Of Learning. Partner With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering And Product Management, To Ensure Software Design Integrates Seamlessly With Overall Project Goals. Work Closely With Quality Assurance Teams To Establish Design Quality Metrics And Maintain High Standards Throughout The Design Process. Skill Requirements
Proficient In Product Design Principles And Techniques With A Strong Understanding Of Design For Manufacturing And Assembly. Familiarity With Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing Standards To Ensure Precision In Design Specifications. Experience With Design Software Such As Solidworks, Autocad, Or Similar Tools. Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders. Certification
Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) Or Similar Design-Related Certifications. Additional Job Details
