JOB IS IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA WITH RELOCATION SERVICE PROVIDED. MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO RICHMOND! Premier sheetfed offset and digital printing company in central VA is searching to hire an experienced Prepress Manager due to an upcoming retirement. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise prepress staff. Oversee production workflow, scheduling and staffing to ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget meeting and or exceeding client specifications. Review and approve jobs before moving to the next stage. Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently. Hire, train, and evaluate team members. Support cross-department communication and customer satisfaction. Stay current on technology, methods, and optimal procedures. Qualifications
Minimum 5 - 7 years' prepress management experience. 5+ years of desktop publishing experience; proficient on Adobe Suite. Working knowledge of Metrix, Prinergy, and Pitstop preferred. Strong knowledge of prepress and printing processes. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and mentoring experience. Ability to thrive under deadlines and prioritize effectively. Starting base salary $77,000 - $90,000 + benefits, profit sharing and relocation assistance. Company Description
