Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations from manufacturing to warehousing, fulfillment and shipping operations with close interactions with sales and client services.
Manage 8 direct reports and 200 indirect.
Practice Lean Manufacturing techniques, improving the quality and efficiency of the work by studying, evaluating and re-configuring processes.
Make sure proper procedures and employee training programs are in place for effective employee development.
Build effective teams through all phases of manufacturing.
Research and advise on new technologies.
P&L and budgeting responsibilities.
Work closely with C level management on strategic development.
Develop and implement growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 - 10 years' manufacturing/operations management experience in the offset printing or packaging industry.
Minimum 15 - 20 years' leadership experience in offset printing operations. Converting experience a plus.
Strong leadership skills including communicating work flows, coaching, mentoring, and disciplining staff.
Proven track record utilizing Lean Manufacturing Practices to improve bottom line and reduce waste and down time.
Cohesive team building experience.
Strong communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits Excellent opportunity with a company in growth mode, dedicated to state-of-the-art technologies.
Starting base salary $200,000 - $300,000 + bonus, benefits, and relocation pkg.
