Position Summary The Marketing Coordinator will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the most significant new arenas of our time. The ideal candidate is hard-working, driven, and thinks creatively about projects. Teamwork and collaboration between the UBS Arena and New York Islanders Marketing teams are critical for this role. This role enables the candidate to contribute to the creation of a foundation for an arena making history in the marketplace. This role pays an hourly rate of $24.00-$26.00 Benefits for Full-Time roles:

UBS Arena

at Belmont Park is made for music and built for hockey. New York's newest premier entertainment and sports venue and home of the New York Islanders is developed in partnership with Oak View Group, the New York Islanders, and Jeff Wilpon. The state-of-the-art arena opened in November 2021 and has hosted top artists including Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and more. The venue delivers an unmatched live entertainment experience with clear sightlines and premier acoustics. UBS Arena is at the forefront of sustainability, earning LEED Green Building Certification in January 2023 and carbon neutrality for operations in Fall 2022. Located on the historic grounds of Belmont Park, UBS Arena is about 30 minutes by LIRR from Grand Central or Penn Station and accessible via mass transit or car. Responsibilities

Assist the department with live event marketing campaigns, including but not limited to: Support with new event announcements and on-sale event launches Help to traffic paid & trade media plans (Creative assets, agreements, budgets, invoices) Provide assistance week of the show and day of the show with closing marketing needs Maintain ownership of the department’s project management system and organizational tools such as Dropbox, Asana, etc. Coordinate and execute day-to-day recurring marketing tasks in relation to the New York Islanders' marketing Islanders support of arena shows Cross-marketing opportunities Communications to general fans & arena Premium Members Ownership of coordination and development of programs to expand the reach of the arena’s marketing footprint, including but not limited to: Hotel Concierge relations Influencer relations Assist to cover the Director of Digital when needed Help coordinate DOS efforts for priority shows including but not limited to content coverage, activations, PR, Influencer hosting Ideate new content to promote upcoming events and help support execution Coordination of the day-to-day support of digital voice Email Social Website SMS App Assist with PR lead with pre- and event-day needs for events at the arena Aid with needs of the department as directed from Sr. Manager of Digital & Social, and Vice President of Marketing Qualifications

What you need to be qualified Has bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, analytics, business administration, or similar. Prior experience with a concert venue, sports facility, or other multi-purpose assembly facilities is a plus. Extremely well-organized with the ability to multi-task effectively and work under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail Ability to think critically Basic understanding of brand identity, advertising, & general marketing strategy. Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills. Demonstrated passion for Marketing in the Entertainment and Sports Industry Ability to prioritize several tasks at once Basic proficiency with MS Office and project management tools Basic photo and video editing skills are a plus Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create and foster relationships.
