Marketing & Social Media Manager role at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Austin, TX. This position will work directly with the Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Team to support the hotel's strategic marketing direction. The role focuses on guiding the digital and online perception of Fairmont Austin, creating engaging and visually memorable content that supports revenue growth and reinforces the hotel's brand positioning. Responsibilities

Guide content creation for digital and social channels; manage paid social media campaigns; propose and execute social marketing and strategy plans to promote revenue growth and align with brand positioning. Leverage influencer collaborations and work with communications and e-Commerce teams to develop paid social campaigns with lifestyle blogs and publications, national/local partners, and corporate/destination marketing partners. Lead growth and development of aspiring leaders and participate in hotel-wide initiatives and committees in a leadership capacity. Execute and track performance for internal and external social media campaigns, promotions, advertising, and websites. Act as liaison between the hotel and Accor marketing support, outside agencies, and contracted vendors/service providers as determined by the Director of Communications. Develop annual social media marketing budget and present to leadership with revenue and engagement opportunities. Show photography proficiency (directing photographers/videographers) and videography to appeal to a luxury market; manage integration of social accounts with the Fairmont Austin website to increase visibility and traffic. Understand and apply SEO best practices to leverage social media presence to drive website traffic and revenue opportunities; map the consumer journey to optimize bookings and engagement. Collaborate with marketing, revenue, distribution, and reservations teams to best serve Fairmont Austin; manage vendor relationships with technology and marketing partners and document opportunities or service issues with recommended solutions. Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations 3+ years of marketing, social media, and/or public relations experience Knowledge of marketing communication mediums including print, e-Commerce, and social media Excellent knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and paid social platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfort with some reel and video editing is a plus Strong knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook Creative thinker with a refined visual eye for luxury; highly organized and results-oriented Ability to travel if necessary Preferred Experience

Hotel industry marketing experience Photography or videography capture, editing, or management Events and public relations experience Proficiency with Canva and graphic design programs Work Environment
