PetSmart is seeking a strategic Brand Marketing Manager to support the development, execution, and production of high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns and in-store experiences. This role sits within our Integrated Marketing team and helps PetSmart connect with pet parents and strengthen brand affinity. We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and solutions-oriented marketer who can take campaigns and in-store activations from idea to execution—crafting the vision, setting the strategy, driving execution across multiple channels, scaling content production to maximize impact, and delivering measurable business results that deepen engagement with the PetSmart community. You should have an analytical, customer-first mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, thoughtful attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and production and is looking to develop their skills. Key Responsibilities Lead full-funnel marketing campaigns from planning through insight, execution, and post-campaign recap, including strategic development, brief writing, production oversight, go-to-market execution, and evaluation. Partner with our operations and creative teams to manage the full lifecycle of in-store activations for brand-led events, including creative development, production management, and timely delivery of event materials that uphold brand standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, channel partners, and outside agencies to translate business needs into campaigns that achieve enterprise-wide goals. Drive work forward in a fast-paced, matrixed organization, navigating roadblocks, ambiguity, and market challenges to hit milestones and metrics. Translate data and market research into key insights that drive decision-making. Own campaign milestones; lead development of campaign-related presentations and reporting for internal leadership and key partners. Attend shoots and events as needed; some travel may be required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3-5 years in marketing, advertising, communications, or content production. Retail experience strongly preferred, either in-house or agency side. Experience navigating matrixed organizations strongly preferred. Experience leading integrated campaigns across multiple channels (paid media, digital, social, content, etc.) with a strong grasp of the creative production process, including events and event promotion. Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities on varied timelines. Proven relationship-building skills with the ability to connect, inspire, and rally cross-functional partners toward shared goals. Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, test hypotheses, and optimize campaign strategies. Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a growth mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by challenges. Experience partnering with external agencies and creative vendors. Passion for pets and the people who love them is a big plus. About the Culture
