Overview
Sr. Account Executive, Large Customer - LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. This position can be located in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or performed remotely anywhere in the United States. The role may be remote or hybrid, with hybrid roles conducted from home and an office on select days as determined by business needs. Remote roles are tied to a designated home work location at time of hire.
We are looking for a Sr. Account Executive to join our Marketing Solutions team to expand LinkedIn’s reputation as the top media channel for technology companies to market to professionals. You will collaborate across teams to develop and deliver sales and marketing strategies, prioritize growing new buying groups, and drive growth with your pod partner focusing on existing buying groups. The impact of collaboration should help exceed growth targets by forging relationships with senior marketing executives and delivering customer value for clients and agencies. Responsibilities
Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies or agencies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue. Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior executive clients at SVP, VP, and CMO levels. Identify net new buying groups to grow client investment and opportunities. Partner with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, Measurement, Content Solutions, Sponsorships, and Agencies to align on campaign strategy, activation, and client goals. Research industry information and trends to align solutions with customer needs. Conceive and pitch creative marketing solutions to advertising agencies and direct clients. Manage sales activity: prospecting, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, closing deals and renewals, and maintaining robust pipeline and accountability. Update and create sales proposals and manage relationships with advertising agencies and marketers. Generate revenue and achieve target quota. Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Travel approximately 20% of the time for team offsites, LinkedIn conferences, and client meetings. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience 7+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, media, or business development 3+ years of direct experience as a media seller Experience building business cases and preparing media ads sales proposals Preferred Qualifications:
Vertical expertise in the technology category Familiarity with the B2B ad sales space Ability to develop authentic relationships with key decision makers at national Fortune 1000 companies and top media agencies Experience prioritizing a book of 8-12 customers Understanding of internet advertising technology and marketing automation Strong organizational skills, proactive planning, sales operational excellence, and leadership behaviors Experience with senior marketing leaders (VP+) at technology companies Ability to forecast and develop prioritized account plans to maximize book potential Ability to connect customer needs with business and product solutions and to tell a compelling story with data Additional Information

Actual compensation varies based on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
