Physician | General Hematology/Oncology | Princeton Community Hospital West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology seek a Hematologist/Oncologist (MD or DO) qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. WVU Medicine is Like No Other! Duties
The successful candidate will practice in Hematology/Oncology, providing excellent patient care and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as part of an active academic environment. The position includes involvement in clinical teaching and patient care across our multi-site network. Qualifications
Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Completion of an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship is required. Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology is required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. The WVU Cancer Institute was named one of the top cancer hospitals by Newsweek and cares for more than 125,000 patients annually. The Department of Medical Oncology includes more than 75 physicians and advanced practice professionals at 15 practice sites across our multi-state network. The Institute focuses on delivering cancer care close to home and developing statewide clinical trials networks and related programs. About WVU Health System
