Responsibilities
Design, implement, and evaluate camp programs that are girl-centered, inclusive, and safe, aligning with council priorities.
Develop innovative activities that foster leadership, confidence, and character among campers.
Oversee the execution of programs, ensuring safety and inclusivity and creating spaces for girls to explore interests and build friendships.
Manage camp operations and lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality experiences.
Qualifications
At least 25 years old with a minimum of two seasons in camp operations or youth programming; leadership experience strongly preferred.
Commitment to the Girl Scout Promise and Law and to the mission of Girl Scouting.
Physical capability: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of camp safety regulations; valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid, Lifeguarding, and Challenge Course Facilitation certifications.
