About the Job
As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You will work with a cross-functional team and lead vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be comfortable designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping, and provide clear direction and feedback to push work forward. You will help define and drive the creative expression of Google devices across key visual and marketing disciplines, set creative direction and standards for photography, motion graphics, copy, and CGI/renderings, and develop brand guidelines and playbooks for internal teams and external partners to create on-brand communications. Platforms & Devices Marketing brings Google hardware, software, and AI to users through products like Pixel, Nest, Fitbit, and more. The role focuses on creating experiences that are helpful, beautifully designed, and integrated into consumers’ lives. Salary information: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location and individual pay is affected by location, skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details for your location will be shared during the hiring process. Compensation details listed reflect base salary only; bonus, equity, and benefits are separate. Work collaboratively with the executive creative director (ECD) and other creative leaders to develop compelling creative content (photography, product design, copy, motion and still) aligned with yearly product roadmaps and communications strategies. Develop elevated aesthetics and visually cohesive campaigns; tell powerful stories through the work. Direct photo shoots to create compelling photography for launch, campaigns, and sustainment. Foster relationships with agency and production partners to deliver outstanding work across a modern marketing mix of channels. Define principles, styles, and techniques to ensure consistency, quality, and premium execution across all consumer-facing touchpoints (e.g., web, retail, packaging, campaigns, social). Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in a creative discipline (e.g., brand design, art direction, or creative direction). Experience leading agency or in-house creative teams across multiple disciplines globally. A portfolio of creative work showing experience in setting creative direction for photography, motion/video, and renderings for brands. Preferred qualifications
Ability to operate in a matrixed environment and thrive in ambiguity. Ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders and peers. Ability to inspire people at all levels within organizations. Outstanding conceptualization skills with the ability to distill ideas to their essence.
