Overview As a Creative in Marketing at Google, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services across major media, content, channels, and experiences. You will work with a cross-functional team, inspire vendor partners, and develop multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You should be comfortable designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping, and capable of providing clear direction and feedback to push work forward while maintaining alignment with the Google Marketing brand.

About the Job Platforms & Devices Marketing brings the best of Google’s hardware, software, and AI to users through products like Pixel, Nest, Fitbit, and more. You will help define and drive the creative expression of Google devices across key visual and marketing disciplines. You will set the creative direction and standards for photography, motion graphics, copy, and CGI/renderings across the devices portfolio and develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines and playbooks for internal teams and external partners to create on-brand communications. Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the Executive Creative Director (ECD) and other creative leaders to develop compelling creative content (photography, product design, copy, motion, and still) aligned with yearly product and campaign roadmaps and overall communications strategies. Develop elevated aesthetics, visually cohesive campaigns, and tell a powerful story through the work. Direct photo shoots to create compelling photography for launch, campaign, and sustainment. Develop and foster relationships with agency and production partners to deliver great work across a modern marketing mix of channels. Define principles, styles, and techniques to ensure consistency, quality, and premium execution across all consumer-facing touchpoints (e.g., web, retail, packaging, campaigns, social). Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., brand design, art direction, or creative direction). Experience leading agency or in-house creative teams across multiple disciplines globally. A portfolio showing experience in setting creative direction for photography, motion/video, and renderings for brands. Preferred qualifications
Ability to operate in a matrixed environment and thrive in ambiguity. Ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders and peers. Ability to inspire people at all levels within organizations. Outstanding conceptualization skills with the ability to distill ideas to their essence. Track record of success within an organization of significant scale, scope, and complexity. Compensation and Location The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location and factors including skills, experience, and education. The compensation details listed reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. More information on benefits is available from Google. This role may be located in Playa Vista, CA or Mountain View, CA; other locations may be considered as applicable by the recruiter.
