Position Summary
Commencement & Retention bonus - TOTALING up to $100,000 Our practice seeks a skilled pediatric radiologist to join a section of 6 pediatric radiologists and 1 pediatric-specific procedural APP at Dell Children’s Medical Center. The caseload is over 90% pediatric; the ideal candidate will be comfortable with general body radiology. The center is a 248-bed freestanding pediatric facility serving a large region and includes the area’s only level I pediatric trauma center and Level IV NICU. The practice provides 24/7 support, strong IT infrastructure, and a collaborative environment. We value close partnerships with referring providers and a growing pediatric population in Central Texas. Excellent compensation with strong emphasis on work-life balance:
2 year partnership track. Part-time and employed options are also available Generous salary with equal base pay for all partners within the same FTE equivalent Full benefits package with paid time off 13 weeks annually Flexible internal moonlighting (shift-based or pay-per-study options)
General Pediatric Body Radiologist (On-Site)
Close-knit section consisting of 5 other pediatric radiologists in a collegial and supportive environment Over 90% pediatric cases, minimal adult general body responsibilities Subspecialist support for IR procedures, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal MRI
Work Schedule:
Weekdays – 8a-5p general daytime shifts, including 1 hour protected lunch break Call/Holidays – 8a-4p weekend/holiday or 4p-10:30p evening shifts, shared evenly by the section After-hours – At-home pager call for pediatric fluoroscopy procedures, generous hourly callback stipend Overnight pediatric diagnostic coverage provided by contracted teleradiology service
