Overview

Cohen Children’s Medical Center, associated with Hofstra-Northwell Medical School, Department of Radiology, is actively seeking a full time Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologist. Responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities include all aspects of Pediatric Radiology (plain film, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI). Teach medical students, residents and fellows; participate in several multidisciplinary conferences. Service coverage includes Cohen Children’s Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, and several community hospitals remotely. Qualifications

Medical degree (M.D. or D.O). Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology; CAQ certified or eligible. Qualified for licensure in New York. Expertise in all areas of Pediatric Radiology (except Neuroradiology) is required; additional expertise/interest in Pediatric MSK is a plus. Dedication to scholarly activity and teaching; eligible for an academic appointment if warranted. About the Department and Facilities

The Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) is a 202-bed tertiary pediatric hospital performing approximately 70,000 examinations annually; largest provider of pediatric health services in New York State. New inpatient hospital with a state-of-the-art Emergency Department; Level I Pediatric trauma center; Level III NICU; Pediatric ICU and Bone Marrow Transplant unit. Pediatric Radiology division includes 5 radiologists, with two new dedicated Pediatric MR machines (1.5T and 3T), two CT scanners, two Siemens flat panel fluoroscopy units, and 3 ultrasound suites; Pediatric Ultrasound technologists available 24 hours a day. New separate Pediatric Neuroradiology division with two dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiologists. Research activity supported through a departmental research division and the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Compensation and Benefits

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, impacted by factors including specialty, experience, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
