Falcon Farms is one of the leading fresh cut-flower distributors in the United States. Since 1987, the company has grown to 10 flower production farms in Colombia and Ecuador, with more than 700 acres of land and a team of over 5,000 people. The organization services national wholesale and mass market accounts from offices in Miami, Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas and Long Beach. Falcon is expanding its regional footprint in Texas. The nature of a seasonal agricultural product requires flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly while staying aligned with strategy. Position Overview
Responsibilities include managing 5-9 merchandisers within a territory, delivering products effectively, training and evaluating drivers, and maintaining the Falcon Farms “Picture of Success” in every serviced retail location. The Regional Merchandising Supervisor is a hands-on mentor who sells flowers and provides customer service to Falcon's customers and theirs. The role requires adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to shift resources as needed. The Supervisor will spend around 80% of time in the field monitoring performance and engaging with customers’ teams. Responsibilities And Expectations
Supervise and monitor an assigned geographic region at Falcon Farms customers’ points of sale. Evaluate merchandiser performance, assign resources, cover absences, audit store displays, and maintain relationships with floral buyers. Prioritize daily routines based on business needs. Provide business-related data to merchandisers to help them execute their functions. Analyze region and store-specific data to propose actions to improve profitability. Manage route operations including ordering, distribution, merchandising, promotions, holiday planning, and meeting customer expectations. Ensure proper upkeep and presentation of the merchandising team. Train and provide ongoing feedback to merchandisers. Coordinate with HR to address staffing and compliance needs. Engage with customers’ store management to strengthen Falcon Farms’ representation. Cover merchandising routes as needed. Required Skills
Must be bilingual (English – Spanish) in written and spoken form. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and stand for long periods. Ability to work the assigned schedule and drive to stores to check products and audit merchandisers’ work. Ability to read and follow merchandising schematics. Good communication, self-discipline, goal- and detail-orientation, and strong people skills. Flexible schedule, especially during floral holidays. Strong self-management skills and ability to complete daily procedures without direct supervision. Ability to lead holiday merchandise teams during peak seasons with setup and teardown processes.
