About the Role: The Director of commercial analytics is a cross-functional leader responsible for driving sustainable revenue and margin growth through intelligent, data-driven pricing strategies and scalable business analytics. They will oversee a team that serves as a center of excellence for client services, supporting complex project proposals, developing standardized pricing frameworks, and delivering best in class client deliverables. The sales delivery office will serve as a critical bridge between finance, operations, and client services—ensuring consistent pricing practices, operational efficiency, and data-backed decision making. Additionally, this leader will analyze internal data to shape company initiatives and support the CFO with key financial performance metrics, while also delivering strategic insights and enabling performance tracking across business lines. This is a highly visible role requiring a mix of financial acumen, operational expertise, and leadership in cross-functional collaboration.

The Director of commercial analytics reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and works closely with the CFO.

Responsibilities Leadership & Management

Manage and mentor a team of project managers dedicated to pricing strategy and client deliverables.

Drive a culture of collaboration, transparency, and data-informed decision making across departments including Sales, Field Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.

Foster alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives across the full customer lifecycle.

Pricing Strategy & Execution

Lead development and execution of a company-wide pricing strategy that balances profitability, competitiveness, and value delivery.

Define and maintain standardized pricing bands based on client size, building type, market conditions, and strategic account value.

Serve as strategic partner to the Key Accounts team by creating and managing account-specific pricing models for large portfolio clients.

Act as the pricing authority for complex multi-building proposals, coordinating with Sales, Field Operations, and Executive stakeholders to optimize deal structures.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

Build and manage comprehensive analytics tools to deliver actionable insights across all business lines.

Leverage data to improve pricing intelligence, drive pricing consistency, and enhance decision-making across Sales and Field Operations.

Forecast market size, opportunity, and account potential to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.

Track and report on key pricing and financial performance metrics, including win rates, margins, and client profitability.

Operational & Strategic Impact

Support Senior Leadership with financial modeling, scenario planning, and revenue forecasting to shape long-term strategy.

Partner with cross-functional teams to allocate consulting resources effectively, maximizing revenue potential and client impact.

Provide strategic financial support to the Key Account organization and senior leadership team through customized reporting, pricing analysis, and go-to-market strategy insights.

Continuously improving pricing tools, processes, and governance to ensure scalability and alignment across the organization.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, financial analytics, or business operations

Strong track record of leading pricing strategy and analytics in a B2B environment.

Deep understanding of financial modeling, margin analysis, and profitability management.

Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic recommendations and operational improvements.

Experience designing and implementing business intelligence tools and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable interfacing with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and CRM systems.

Qualifications

3-5 years in the vertical transportation industry.

MBA or Master’s in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Previous experience in strategic pricing for large portfolio accounts or multi-site clients.
