About the Role We are seeking a technically proficient and self-directed Entry Level Systems Architect with hands-on experience in managing backup systems, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure. This role will primarily support information technology needs within an industrial OT environment. Responsibilities Backup Systems: Configure, schedule, restore, and troubleshoot backups using Veeam and/or Acronis. Implement backup strategies for OT systems (full, incremental, differential). Deploy, configure, and maintain NAS hardware—such as Synology, QNAP, and enterprise solutions. Optimize storage and understand RAID, provisioning, and performance. Networking: Apply advanced knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN segmentation, and routing. Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP (static & dynamic environments). Server & Hardware Configuration: Build and configure servers (Dell or similar), including BIOS/UEFI, OS installs, and firmware management. Troubleshoot performance issues and analyze logs beyond basic settings. Provision and manage VMs on VMware ESXi and vSphere, including resource allocation and snapshots. Troubleshoot VM and host-level issues, and monitor performance. Active Directory Administration: Manage AD including users/groups, OUs, and GPOs. Troubleshoot domain controller roles, authentication, DNS, and policies. Support Honeywell DCS equipment, Cisco switches, and Dell servers in petrochemical/industrial settings. Manage DCS hardware spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in a petrochemical or industrial setting supporting OT systems. Experience with Honeywell DCS equipment, Cisco hardware, and Dell infrastructure. Experience with DCS hardware asset management and lifecycle documentation. Required Skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or structure. Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in resolving technical issues. Comfortable collaborating across IT, OT, and engineering disciplines. Preferred Skills Soft Skills Pay range and compensation package discussed during screening process. Interested?
