The Healthcare Solutions Architect plays a critical role in advancing Cassling’s mission to deliver innovative solutions that help healthcare organizations thrive. This role bridges sales, technical expertise, and customer strategy to deliver greater value for our clients. Working closely with Account Executives, healthcare leaders, and internal teams, the Solutions Architect serves as both a customer insights generator and a solution connector, helping clients identify operational challenges, uncover growth opportunities, and implement strategies that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Cassling is hiring two Solutions Architects, each focused on a distinct area of expertise:

Hospital & Health System Optimization

– Deep experience in operational efficiency, resource utilization, and navigating complex provider ecosystems.

Entrepreneurial Start-Up Expertise

– Specialized in launching and scaling independent ambulatory surgical centers and/or imaging centers.

Candidates should bring expertise in one of these focus areas. Experience working with imaging leaders is strongly preferred.

Role Purpose

Partner with Account Executives to elevate conversations beyond products, focusing on solving complex business, operational, and clinical challenges.

Build credibility with healthcare leaders by delivering actionable insights and innovative solution strategies.

Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients make informed decisions that drive growth and improve patient outcomes.

Strengthen Cassling’s ability to deliver holistic solutions by aligning operational, financial, clinical, and technological expertise.

Travel extensively (up to 75%) to meet with clients, lead discovery sessions, and support solution delivery across assigned territories.

Distinct Areas of Expertise Role 1: Hospital & Health System Optimization

Drive operational efficiency and resource utilization within large, complex provider ecosystems.

Partner with hospital executives and imaging leaders to align operational performance with financial and strategic goals.

Support initiatives that improve throughput, staff allocation, and patient access to care.

Role 2: Entrepreneurial Start-Up Expertise

Guide entrepreneurs and physician groups in launching and scaling ambulatory surgical centers and imaging centers.

Support business planning, financial modeling, payer negotiations, and operational setup.

Develop patient acquisition and experience strategies to help start-ups compete and grow.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Client-Facing Discovery & Strategy Work

Facilitate or participate in strategic conversations with healthcare executives and clinical leaders.

Lead discovery interviews to uncover client goals, operational pain points, and emerging needs.

Build or contribute to high-level assessments, opportunity maps, and solution roadmaps.

Prepare executive-ready materials that summarize findings, articulate recommendations, and outline next steps.

Act as a customer insights generator, leveraging operational assessments, financial analysis, and industry trends to guide solution strategies.

Internal Solution Development & Planning

Work cross-functionally to design tailored solution proposals that align with each client’s context, challenges, and goals.

Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Account Executives, and Subject Matter Experts to synthesize perspectives into cohesive recommendations.

Pull financial models, operational benchmarks, or workflow designs that support proposed strategies.

Lead solution design and integration efforts, ensuring seamless alignment with client workflows and strategic priorities.

Debrief with Account Executives to refine positioning, finalize recommendations, and prepare for executive conversations.

Sales Support and Collaboration

Partner closely with Account Executives to prepare for key client engagements and shape strategic conversations.

Join early-stage sales calls to elevate discussions beyond products, shifting from transactional to consultative dialogue.

Recommend opportunities to expand engagement scope by introducing operational optimization, financial strategy, technology integration, and patient experience solutions.

Debrief after client meetings to realign on approach, assign next steps, and strengthen partnership strategies.

Thought Leadership & Knowledge Building

Stay current on healthcare trends, innovations, regulatory changes, and client priorities to inform solution strategies.

Develop internal tools, templates, and repeatable frameworks that enable more consistent solution delivery.

Share client stories, success examples, and emerging needs with the broader Cassling team to drive continuous improvement.

Occasionally contribute to external-facing content, such as webinars, whitepapers, market research, and industry panels, to strengthen Cassling’s market credibility.

What We Are Looking For In a Candidate

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in healthcare strategy, operations, consulting, with demonstrated expertise in either hospital/health system optimization or ambulatory start-up environments.

Strong understanding of imaging operations, outpatient procedural care, and healthcare delivery models.

Ability to translate complex challenges into actionable strategies

Exceptional communication and executive facilitation skills

Strong operational and financial acumen

Experience working cross-functionally with sales and solution delivery teams
